Located in the grounds of the historic Prestongrange House between Musselburgh and Prestonpans, Royal Musselburgh Golf Club is the 6th oldest club in the world.

The home of the Old Club Cup, the oldest trophy still played for each year we welcome members and visitors. Only 15 miles from the centre of Edinburgh and near the A1 and City By Pass the pefect start to Scotlands Golf CoastRoyal Musselburgh GC is located within the stunning grounds of Prestongrange House in the historic town of Prestonpans at the start of Scotland’s Golf Coast in East Lothian.

With incredible views over the Forth Estuary to Fife this parkland gem is always worth a visit. We pride ourselves on the way this James Braid designed course is presented and we can guarantee a warm welcome from the outset.

Ideally set up for all levels this is an ideal venue for your Society outing with competitive midweek packages available throughout the year.

As the 6th Oldest Golf Club in the world Royal Musselburgh is steeped in history. The Old Club cup dating back to 1774 is still played for annually and visitors can see the original hole cutter, designed for the club and now the standard size for golf holes across the world.
